FlipFrame Studio is the tool we make our own toons with: plates, panel layouts, bubbles that speak, captions in four languages, and the FlipFrame reader. A membership gives you the studio and the generation it runs on.
What is in it
The whole studio, nothing to set up
You write the page and the studio draws it: a plate generated from your prompt and the series' reference sheets, or your own art, uploaded and left untouched. Then you put bubbles on the picture, write each line in four languages and let them speak.
Images and voices are generated on the studio's own accounts. No API keys, no accounts with other providers, nothing to set up. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and the studio keeps the count for you.
- Plates: generate a page with AI from your prompt and reference sheets, or upload your own art
- Panel layouts and a filmstrip of pages, with characters kept consistent across the series
- Bubbles on the art: speech, thought, bursts and HUD readouts, each with a tail that points at the speaker
- Captions in English, Italian, German and French, written once per bubble and switched by the reader
- Voiced bubbles: a spoken line per caption with emotion and delivery direction, or your own clip
- The FlipFrame reader: full-screen plates you turn like a book, on any device, with the captions speaking
- Publishing on twentyseven.pictures, and soon the artist showcase and an embed for your own site

How it works
Four steps to a first page
From a new account to a published episode, all in the browser.
Create an account
Open the studio and create your account with an email and a password. It takes a minute, and nothing is charged yet.
Choose a plan
On the studio's Membership page you pick Creator or Pro. Payment goes through Stripe, monthly, cancel any time.
Make
Set up a series with its reference sheets, generate or upload pages, place bubbles, write the lines in four languages and let them speak.
Publish
An episode goes out in the FlipFrame reader, with speaking captions and a language choice for the reader.
Questions
Before you join
Do I need my own AI accounts or API keys?
No. Images and voices are generated on the studio's own Runware and ElevenLabs accounts, inside your plan's monthly allowance. There is nothing to set up.
What happens when I use up the monthly allowance?
Generation pauses until the allowance resets at the start of the next month. Uploading your own plates and clips, editing and publishing keep working. The Pro plan has a larger allowance.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The membership is billed monthly through Stripe, and you can cancel from the billing page in Settings at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Which languages can the captions be in?
English, Italian, German and French. Every bubble has a line in all four, and the FlipFrame reader lets the reader pick.
How do I start?
Create an account in the studio, choose a plan on its Membership page and pay through Stripe. The studio opens the moment the payment goes through.
