What is an interactive webcomic?
An interactive webcomic sits between a comic and a film. Every page is a full-screen hand-inked plate; you turn pages like a book on desktop, or read a vertical strip on a phone. Word balloons are placed over the art, and each one can speak — tap a caption and it plays a voiced line or a sound effect, recorded, levelled and mixed the way we mix our films.
Our readers run on FlipFrame, the reading engine we built for these stories. Captions exist in English, Italian, German and French, so the same page reads itself aloud in the language you choose. There is nothing to install and every toon is free to read: each one is a page you can send to anyone with a link.
The stories come out of the same darkroom as our horror short films and cosplay productions: cyberpunk noir in Nero and Jax, psychological horror in RED SMILE, dark fantasy in Erin & the Goblins. New episodes appear here as they leave the darkroom — and we build interactive webcomics for other people too, as a series pilot, a campaign, or a comic that carries its own voice acting.
